In the last announcement of April 9, 2009, the agency reported that it had received about 42,000 regular cap cases and most of 20,000 U.S. master exempt cases. Since then almost one week has passed and there is no word from the USCIS. The regular cap is 65,000 and in the FY 2009 cap count, they needed 58,200 to reach the regular cap because of Singapore and Chile free trade agreement cap. Besides, it is obvious that by now, the agency has used up all the 20,000 U.S. master exempt numbers and those U.S. master exempt cases beyond 20,000 cap might have been added to the pool of the regular cap count. Considering all of these facts, the agency's silence on the cap count raises a mystery or thrill or even chill /thunderstom that can come after the mysterious calm.
